BC Recreational Park dispensation? Filming in public after hours?

I wanted to use Campbell Valley Park in a film I'm doing. Darkness is necessary. But the hours 6-8/9 aren't long enough to wait for it to get dark. I just wanted to film in the wooded areas of the park, on the trails, etc. Would I be able to ask permission? Would they say yes? Are there any other places in Surrey/around there area where people are allowed in forests after dark and/or camping overnight for free or minimal charge? Thanks :)
